OpenStudy (lpruitt4):

Which sentence uses periods correctly? A. We drove to the museum in St Petersburg. B. We drove to the museum in St. Petersburg C. We drove to the museum in St. Petersburg. D. We drove to the museum in St Petersburg

OpenStudy (jahernandez):

c

OpenStudy (anonymous):

C because you need to put a period next to st. Because it's abbreviated. And then obviously a period at the end of the sentence. :)

Directrix (directrix):

Abbreviate the following: Titles before names: Mrs., Mr., Ms., Prof., Dr., Gen., Rep., Sen., St. (for Saint) Look at the abbreviation for Saint. Of course, a period comes at the end of a sentence. http://grammar.ccc.commnet.edu/grammar/abbreviations.htm @lpruitt4
