Let's think about china. China is still a communist/state-controlled country. They've incorportd some capitlistic elements, but they are still on the whole a state-controlled government / economy. So the communist party did not end with China's growth. As far as B is concerned, it's reasonable to expect that industrialization would improve standards of living for a country, so so far this seems the most reasonable answer. C asks if China's industrialization resulted in a decrease in oil prices; China is not an oil-producing region. Oil-producing regions are predominately located in the Middle East D says that china's rapid industrialization results in an icnrease in air-pollution. This is an entirely fair assumption; construction, transportation of goods, and everything else that comes with industriatlizaiton definitely releases a lot of pollution as a by-product. also, if you' haven't learned about it yet, go look up videos of chinese air pollution in areas like beijing. the air is so pullted with smog, that sometimes you can hardly see. the air is foul , it's sad really. D is the correct answer
