OpenStudy (martin_01):

When should I use the ";" in a sentence?

OpenStudy (alexatiger):

The apostrophes or the semi colon?

OpenStudy (alexatiger):

OR BOTH O.O

OpenStudy (maddy1251):

I am guessing you are referring to ---> ; in that case, I will provide an example. The cat was usually quite playful; however, today she didn't seem well. Use a semicolon after transition words, such as: However, Therefore, That is, etc. It is also advised to use a comma after these transition words. (Such as how I put one after however)
