Please help!!! Will fan and medal!!! Which method is the best method for solving the equation 8x^2-13x+3=0 A. Square roots B. Factoring C. Graphing D. Quadratic formula

OpenStudy (vishweshshrimali5):

What do you think should be the answer?

OpenStudy (caozeyuan):

Definitely not square roots, lets agree on this first

OpenStudy (hannahc234):

this wont factor so you can use the quadratic formula to solve it right?

OpenStudy (caozeyuan):

Yes, I would say just brute force and use formula, but graphing works too

OpenStudy (hannahc234):

But which method would word best for this equation when solving it?

OpenStudy (hannahc234):

Work^^

OpenStudy (caozeyuan):

formula, graphing works best if you have integer roots since they are obvious on the axis

OpenStudy (caozeyuan):

But then again I could graph it on a TI and it can show me the zeros easily
