My assignment is to write a paper on the French and Indian War that answers a question in a way that leads to discussion and promotes conversation. Any suggestions for angles I could cover? The teacher said it shouldn't be a fact based paper, and we are supposed to prepare to lead a 10 minute discussion on our topic after turning in our report. What type of essay would this be categorized as, and does anyone have suggestions on how to prepare to lead a group discussion (especially since I am terrified of public speaking)?
