How were representatives to the House of Burgesses chosen? They were elected by all the people in Virginia. They were appointed by the British monarch. They were elected by Virginia landowners. They were appointed by the governor of the colony.

@mathmale ? this is a study guide & i need help do u know any1 who is willing to help me??????

OpenStudy (mathmale):

Why not look up "Virginia House of Burgesses?" History is more than just knowing or asking for facts, as by asking, "How were representatives to the House of Burgesses chosen?" You need to develop the ability to research (find) the info you need, whether through Internet searchs, finding a pertinent library book, and so on. Being given a direct answer by someone else on OpenStudy won't help you at all in the long run.

i did but they kept tlkin about what it did not how they were elected

OpenStudy (mathmale):

If, on the other hand, you had done some previous research and had narrowed down your choice of answers to two, that'd be a perfect time to ask for another perspective, to help you make your final choice of answer. Good luck. Look up "House of Burgesses elections"

OpenStudy (mathmale):

...or "election of representives to the House of Burgesses." Be creative in coming up with search keys.

OpenStudy (mathmale):

Key words: "election," "House of Burgesses representatives."

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i do research b4 i ask ?s on here i believe its either a or c

OpenStudy (mathmale):

I'd agree with you. Why not do a bit more research online so that you can now choose one or the other, A or C?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well i know only white male people over 17 back in that time were the only ones able to vote so would it b C???
