The reason for not allowing rap battles is as follows:
"The reason to why we cannot do rap battles is because many users get out of hand and start swearing. Not to mention the amount of off topic that goes on within the threads. People can post their OWN rap lyrics, but no have a battle to see who's better and so on."
It is not about a debate on whether or not rap is music, but that such posts very often led to cursing/rule-breaking.
