OpenStudy (yinshy):

What are the diameter and radius of a circle with a circumference of 48π yd? A. d = 24 yd r = 12 yd B. d = 24 yd r = 48 yd C. d = 12 yd r = 24 yd D. d = 48 yd r = 24 yd

OpenStudy (sugardemonhunters):

wont be b or c for sure, because radius is the half of a diameter

OpenStudy (mysticfury):

so lets take our formula again.. C = 2 x pi x radius they used the formula except they didnt times by pi so we can take 48 divided by 2 to find the radius becuase they multiplied by 2 so 48 divided by 2 is 24 so radius is 24 like @sugardemonhunters said the diameter is twice of the radius so what do you think the answer is @Yinshy ?

OpenStudy (yinshy):

D

OpenStudy (mysticfury):

correct !
