OpenStudy (needhelpwithk12):

so what grade are you in?

OpenStudy (stamp):

Instead of me growing my own food, making my own clothes, or building my own furniture, we divide that labor. Some people are very good at growing food, like farmers. Other people are very good at making clothes, like tailors. And people are very good at building furniture, carpenters. So instead of one person being just-ok at all of those things, we have people become great at them. And then we're all getting the best clothes, the best food, and the best furniture because we're splitting up the labor.

OpenStudy (needhelpwithk12):

so you are saying that like everyone divides up the work and everything?

OpenStudy (stamp):

How good would you be at building a computer? not very good. So you have somebody who is skilled at designing and constructing computers do it for you, and that's how you're able to have a computer. if you were expected to do it all by yourself, you would never have a computer. This applies to just about everything are blessed with in society, without people specializing in specific things, we'd be stuck in the stone ages.

OpenStudy (needhelpwithk12):

oh so you need skilled people in the arts of something to help you succeed in getting something???
