I need some help guys!! Dividing Monomials simplify r^3s^4t/r^3s^4t^4 <---- Fraction with exponents.

OpenStudy (blake4560):

You should probably check this out for sure; but I believe this is how it is done...Since your monomials is dividing, you are going to subtract like terms from top and bottom... Example: you have r^3 on top and r^3 on the bottom so r^3-3 and you get r. Then you look and see that there is an s^4-s^4 and you get s. Finally, since the t^4 is only on the bottom it's left alone. So your answer should be rs/t^4..

Oh okay! Thank you so much. I was incredibly confused on what to do.

You are welcome and I hope that right. :)
