HELP!!!
@JupitersRing01
Okay, this one is a little, smidge bit more difficult because it asks us to explain our work. But no matter! Using the power of mathematics we can solve this with ease!
yay
Let's go through what we know about parallelograms. We know that they're called this because they have (get ready for some hints) TWO sets of parallel sides. I think my work here is done. XD But really, with that information we can piece together a statement that proves that a parallelogram must have the congruent sides. Write a sample "given" and "prove" statement along the lines that a parallelogram must have congruent sides and I'll see how it is.
That was a bit confusing. Let me rephrase what I said; a parallelogram is a four sided shape that contains two sets of parallel lines. Knowing this, the parallelogram couldn't be called what it is if it didn't contain these two sets of parallel lines.
Given: 2 sets of parallel lines Prove: AB & DC are parallel and AD & BC are parallel
That's pretty much right! My connection has been shaky for the last 30 minutes, but that was perfect! *Hands smart cookie*
yay now finally my last question ( post it now )
Okay! :D By the way, if I helped you in any way, a medal would be appreciated! :)
Aw shucks, thanks!
no prob
Wait, I'm the one who is suppose to be thanking you :0
It's a pleasure helping! :)
