Want some help with finding percents. Not out of 100 cause I know that already but If you have 60 problems and got 10 wrong what was the percent you missed?

form the ratio 10/60.  Multiply this fraction by 100% and you'll have your answer.  

83% is not correct as the percentage of question missed.  Rather, it represents the percentage of questions that you got right.

That would be 1000/6000, do I just reduce after that?

If those are your numbers, fine.  1000/6000 would represent 1000 miessed out of 6000.  The result would be exactly the same as  (10/60)*100%.

OH you mean divide 10 and 60 then multiply by 100?

10/60 is a ratio; if you do this division on a calculator, you obtain 0.1666666.... , which is still not a percentage.  If you want a perecentage, you've got to multiply this 1/6 or 10/60 or 0.166666... by 100%.  Try it, please, and round off your result to no more than 2 decimal places.
