You should use the concept of 'impulse' and momentum to solve this. The Impluse is the area under the F-t graph You can see from the graph that his is HALF the area of the enclosing rectangle Total implse = change of MOMENTUM (mv) You know the impulse, you know the mass so you can work out the CHANGE of velocity. Add the initial velocity (2 m/s) to get the answer
