This is a poem that I wrote tell me what you think

A friend
They are there when you’re in your darkest hour
A friend is there when you need someone to talk about boys or girls with
They will make you laugh about nothing
A friend is there to put a smile on your face
They will always know when you’re hurting
A friend will be the shoulder you cry on when needed
They will be by your side even through your going through tough times
A friend is someone you can trust with your life

So I add some things to the poem I still don't know if I like it

They are there when you need them the most
A friend is will always know when you’re hurting
They will know all your pains and regrets
A friend will be there to put a smile on your face

A friend will stand by you in your darkest hour
They will be the shoulder you cry on when you need it
A friend is around so you have someone to tell your secrets to
They will be the people you won’t be afraid to die for
A friend isn’t there just for you
You’ll be there for them just as much

It's good. maybe try to add a flow to your poem. maybe some rhyming words or something. but keep it suttle. good job.
