OpenStudy (johanna4):

A student exposed to streptococcus comes down with a high fever. Which is likely the cause? -bacteria regression -skin adherence -bacteria toxin -antibiotic resistance

OpenStudy (fatir5):

The best option here is bacterial toxins that causes the activation of immune system, because whenever any bacteria or pathogen enters the body, their toxins which can be called as antigens, activates the immune system and it responds in several ways. One of which is production of antibodies and yet, temperature of the body is also increased. That high temperature is responsible for favouring killing of bacteria and stop them from reproduction as well.

OpenStudy (johanna4):

Thank you!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):
