A quadrilateral has two right angles. The measure of the third angle is 73°. What is the measure of the fourth angle? °

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sum of angles of quadilateral = 360 so forth angle = 360-90-90-73

OpenStudy (kayders1997):

Do you know how many degrees are in a quadrateral?

OpenStudy (kayders1997):

Quadrilateral

OpenStudy (anonymous):

73 it says

OpenStudy (kayders1997):

That a angle measure in the shape

OpenStudy (anonymous):

107

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh lol

OpenStudy (kayders1997):

Your not supposed to give direct answers :/

OpenStudy (kayders1997):

There are 360 degrees in a 4 sided shape and you have 2 right angles which mean 90 degrees than you have an angle of 72 so you add 90+90+72 up than since you have 360 degrees in a four sided shape you need to subtract 360 from the number you get when your done adding

OpenStudy (kayders1997):

My bad 73 not 72

OpenStudy (anonymous):

omg thats alot of words xD

OpenStudy (kayders1997):

Do you want me to simplify it for you?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if you can

OpenStudy (kayders1997):

You have angles 90 90 and 73 already right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (kayders1997):

So first add them to see the degrees you have in the shape

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think i figured it out i just think

OpenStudy (anonymous):

107?

OpenStudy (kayders1997):

Yes good job :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

YESSS

OpenStudy (anonymous):

CAN YOU help me with a few more?

OpenStudy (kayders1997):

Yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i gave you a medal btw :)

OpenStudy (kayders1997):

Thanks I'll give you a medal for your efforts :)

If r = 12, what is the value of t? 9 + r × 3 = t A. 54 B. 45 C. 36 D. 15

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ty

OpenStudy (kayders1997):

So first we need to plug the value in for r into the equation

OpenStudy (kayders1997):

How will that look? :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

12

OpenStudy (kayders1997):

Yes so we have 9+12x3 right? Just plugging 12 into r

OpenStudy (anonymous):

right

OpenStudy (kayders1997):

Now do you do the adding first or multiplaction?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think multiplaction

OpenStudy (kayders1997):

Yes PEMDAS tells us multiplication first so 12x3 is?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

36

OpenStudy (kayders1997):

Now add 9 :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

45?

OpenStudy (kayders1997):

Yes :)

OpenStudy (kayders1997):

That wasn't to bad :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

crappppp i hate these kind and i cant copy and paste a picture

OpenStudy (kayders1997):

What is it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its like one of thoes number line things in the big rectangle

OpenStudy (kayders1997):

Huh?

OpenStudy (kayders1997):

You can't copy amd paste the link? People do it all the time

OpenStudy (kayders1997):

Hmmmmm

OpenStudy (kayders1997):

That's kinda dumb

OpenStudy (anonymous):

password?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hello?

OpenStudy (kayders1997):

Yes?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is it a password? if it is i cant give you that sry

OpenStudy (kayders1997):

Yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok i cant trust ANYONE with my online school

OpenStudy (kayders1997):

Why? :(

OpenStudy (kayders1997):

Something happen?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

somone could ruin my grades and i can get kicked out and i dont really know you

OpenStudy (kayders1997):

I understand, I would never do that but I get it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its k i figured it out ant way and my mom would murder me if any one else knew it for some reason XD

OpenStudy (kayders1997):

Lol I gotta go sorry

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thanks tho

OpenStudy (kayders1997):

No problem :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ill ask somone else
