OpenStudy (ray1998):

Hi! Can someone please help me? Will give fan and medal. Find the fourth term of the geometric sequence 6, 24, 96,... a(4) = Thank you in advance :)

OpenStudy (greenbannanabob):

Do you see the pattern? (Geometric sequences mean they are multiplying, so what do you think they are multiplying by?)

OpenStudy (palwandew):

To find a4 you need to multiply a3 with common ratio "r" which you can find by dividing a2 and a1.

OpenStudy (ray1998):

Okay. Gotcha, thank you

OpenStudy (greenbannanabob):

What did you get?

OpenStudy (ray1998):

The answer is 384. Thank you @Palwandew :)

OpenStudy (palwandew):

Correct. Keep it up.
