I will MEDAL AND FAN any person that can explain to me how to add, subtract, multiply, and divide decimals and then show me how to convert them to fraction
ok so to add you line the decimals up add zeros in any empty spaces and add that up like simple adition now to subtract it is the same as the addition problem but subtract instead of add now to divide step1. Turn the divisor (the number you’re dividing by) into a whole number by moving the decimal point all the way to the right; at the same time, move the decimal point in the dividend (the number you’re dividing) the same number of places to the right. step2. Place a decimal point in the quotient (the answer) directly above where the decimal point now appears in the dividend. step3. Divide as usual, being careful to line up the quotient properly so that the decimal point falls into place step4.DONE!! So did I earn a medal
It's the same as if you're adding, subtracting, multiplying, or dividing whole numbers. To get your answer, you just round to the nearest tenth or hundredth. For example: 9.536536 would simply equal 9.54, since the third number, six, rounds up. To convert a Decimal to a Fraction follow these steps: Step 1: Write down the decimal divided by 1, like this: decimal 1. Step 2: Multiply both top and bottom by 10 for every number after the decimal point. ... Step 3: Simplify (or reduce) the fraction. Hope that helps (:
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!
