Im not sure where this would go. But i have to write a children's story about being a good "internet citizen" and how to be safe on the internet. This is for Educational Technology and Online Learning 8B. If anyone could help me, that was be awesome. :)

emmagrace231 (emmagrace231):

this is the sheet we have to do to base the story off of.

emmagrace231 (emmagrace231):

I will give fan, testimonial, and medal to helpful responses

OpenStudy (theoriginalgoldstar4-herof2015):

i can't see the sheet

emmagrace231 (emmagrace231):

emmagrace231 (emmagrace231):

ok. this is it. ^^

OpenStudy (theoriginalgoldstar4-herof2015):

ok well what grade are you doing the story for

emmagrace231 (emmagrace231):

I'm thinking third

emmagrace231 (emmagrace231):

@theoriginalgoldstar4-herof2015 i just don't know what to actually do in the story

OpenStudy (theoriginalgoldstar4-herof2015):

ok well what type of information do you hvae to put in the story

emmagrace231 (emmagrace231):

All my lesson says is i have to use this sheet to create a story for a child in grades 1-4

OpenStudy (theoriginalgoldstar4-herof2015):

ok well i mean like what type of story like fiction or nonfiction

emmagrace231 (emmagrace231):

a fiction. but it still has to tell the info

emmagrace231 (emmagrace231):

this is all the instruction i was given

OpenStudy (theoriginalgoldstar4-herof2015):

ok well with that info it makes this easier ok so using the info they gave you think of this write a story about a little kid and they have found a online game that allows you to talk to the other players and they become friends with someone and they want to meet and they find out the other person is a bad guy and tries to steal them but the parents stop the kid and they find out it was a social experament

emmagrace231 (emmagrace231):

this would be good for a third graders?

OpenStudy (theoriginalgoldstar4-herof2015):

i'll give you an example

emmagrace231 (emmagrace231):

i just don't know if that would be good for a third grader

OpenStudy (theoriginalgoldstar4-herof2015):

On a cloudy afternoon a little girl begs her mom to let her join a virtual world game with horses, finally the mother allows her to join the site warning her that she needs to be careful about who she talks to. Later that day the little girl starts talking to another player on the game and soon they are friends and start talking about meeting at a park nearby. The next day the little girl gets her mother to take her to the park after school and she tells her mother all about meeting the other person and her mother calls her father and they watch their daughter closely making sure the other person was really another child. As they watch a older man walks up to their daughter and starts talking quickly they realize that this is the person their daughter was going to meet and they leap into action getting their daughter away from the man.

OpenStudy (theoriginalgoldstar4-herof2015):

that's just an idea

emmagrace231 (emmagrace231):

good idea

OpenStudy (theoriginalgoldstar4-herof2015):

thanks i do alot of little story writing stuff

OpenStudy (mahoganie.carson):

I like story :)

emmagrace231 (emmagrace231):

this is what i ended up doing. I thought the other idea was too mature for an 8 year old. :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

emmagrace231 (emmagrace231):

Thanks!
