I need help! Im 100% lost.

you have to write equations for the two line segments. Start with the one from -3 to 0. Can you tell the slope and y-intercept of that part?

OpenStudy (taylor.joe):

Im sorry but i still don't understand. Its been almost a year since i've done this stuff.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

look at the segment that goes from (-3, -6) to (0, 0). You need to write the equation for that segment in \(y=mx+b\) form where m is the slope and b is the y-intercept. The slope is rise/run. Basically divide the amount the line goes up by the amount it goes across. y-intercept is where it crosses the y-axis

OpenStudy (taylor.joe):

Oh. Okay. I kinda understand now. Thank you. I just needed to get started.

OpenStudy (mathmale):

Want to share your results? What is the slope of that line segment? What would the y-intercept be?
