"Fortunately, the procedure for finding the area of a parallelogram, such as this one, is straightforward: multiply base by height. Your result?" Please remember this fact. Your parallelogram has a given base and a given height, so its area is (base)(height). Were this a rectangle, the procedure for finding the area would be precisely the same.\

Here ill walk you through it. You see the smaller shape Put that on the end of the larger shape making it a rectangle. Now with that all you need to do is 24x8, do you understand how to do questions like this now or shall i explain it further.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I just need to know the step by step process to the answer

OpenStudy (mathmale):

That's an interesting, alternative, approach. Make sure that rainbowswirl undrstands and can use the simplest approach possible, before introducing an alternative one.

I Was taught I simplified version. The first step would to be figuring out how the smallest shape can fit the end of the larger shape tell me once you have it or I can explain if you don't understand after a few tries.
