1. Sarah is purchasing a shirt that is on sale for 20% off. She knows the function that represents the sale price of her shirt is s(p) = 0.8p, where p is the original price of the shirt. She also knows she has to pay 7% sale's tax on the shirt. The cost of the shirt with tax is c(s) = 1.07s, where s is the sale price of the shirt. Determine the composite function that can be used to calculate the final price of Sarah's shirt by solving for c[s(p)]. (1 point) c[s(p)] = 0.856p c[s(p)] = 0.856sp c[s(p)] = 1.87p c[s(p)] = 1.87sp 2.If h(x) = 3x − 1 and j(x) = −2x, solve h[j(2)] and select the correct answer below. a −11 b 11 c −13 d 13

@Maddy1251 can you help with these? They're my last 2 questions then I'm finished :)

OpenStudy (fabgirl1994):

I just figured out the first question. I only need the second, I'm confused on the h[j(2)] part

OpenStudy (anonymous):

just solve j(2) first then replace the answer in h

OpenStudy (anonymous):

j(2) =2x-2=-4 then h(-4) =3(-4)-1=-13

I am sorry I didn't see this, I had logged off around 10ish to go get Holiday stuff for my family. Deepest apologies; hope you figured it out.
