What is the fraction 28/32 expressed in lowest terms?

OpenStudy (vijeya3):

Look for the Common factors of both the numerator first and keep dividing the numerator and the denominator with those common factors.Do this until the numerator and the denominator have no common factors other than the number '1'. In this case it would be something like this- 28/32 Both the numerator and the denominator are divisible by 4 So divide both of them by 4 (28/4)/(32/4) 7/8 We see that 7 and 8 have no common factors other than the number '1' So,we say that this is the simplest form of the number Therefore, the simplest form of 28/32 is 7/8 I hope this is helpful:)
