Explain how the calorimeter works, and how you can calculate the heat given off or absorbed by the reaction being studied.
My answer for the first part is: A calorimeter is a device used to measure the heat of reaction. Styrofoam cups are most often used as a calorimeter because it’s a container that prevents heat from exchanging with the environment. I don't know how to answer the second part though.
