it doesn't matter how you rotate the cover, the cover cannot fall into the hole, unlike a square lid which could fall into the hole if you rotate it this way:|dw:1459079440272:dw|

Hmm, second reason... I guess because it doesn't contain any sharp corners or edges so it has less chance to be any hazard?
