What are the benefits of being an Ambassador and/or a Moderator?

Well their isn't really any benefits of both except, expand your knowledge of the site and rules and aid @Preetha in the fight to "RULE THE WORLD", i mean to stop rule breakers and keep the site running smoothly by helping new users and to TEACH not FORCE people our CoC and TaC. You also devise new ways to improve the site and you get a beautiful "A" next to your name or for MODS a purple square and some diaboloical powers :D

Allow me to answer your question a little bit better. :)
There are no benefits. There is responsibility.
Ambassadors help remind others of the rules, set positive examples, be helpful in every way possible and to resemble all of this yes they get the beautiful A next to their names ^.^
Moderators also do the same as Ambassadors, but their responsibility is more apparent as they are the peacekeepers and rule enforcers of the site. They have the ability to filter through reports made by other user's if there is someone being offensive or disobeying rules. They also have the ability to disable accounts and activate suspension for the sake of peace and justice. And yes they are the ones in purple, and they are entirely deserving of our respect. :)
So its more responsibility then anything. But even responsibility has its benefits.
With it comes maturity. That's the best benefit I think! ^_^

That's not true. You can leave the site if you want to, its just that if you become an Ambassador or a Moderator, your activeness is a bit more required.
Its perfectly alright to take break's though and stuff like that.
No one's chaining you to the site.
Everyone has lives and can't be expected to stay around 24/7.
