rishavraj (rishavraj):

apply pythogoras theorem

OpenStudy (greenbannanabob):

Pythagorean Theorem \[a^2+b^2=c^2\] a=3 b=3 solve for c

OpenStudy (sbuck98):

18

OpenStudy (sbuck98):

@greenbannanabob

OpenStudy (greenbannanabob):

\[18=c^2\] Find c

OpenStudy (greenbannanabob):

Yes that's correct. And a little trick for later on: whenever\[a=x\] and \[b=x\] Then \[c=x \sqrt{2}\]

OpenStudy (sbuck98):

so how do I get the answer for this? @greenbannanabob

OpenStudy (greenbannanabob):

What do you mean?

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

answer is 3 sq rt 2
