Simplify 4√6 / 5√6 ( fraction form) 6 and 1/5 6 and 9/20 6 and 1/20 6 and 5/4
Well, we are doing 4 squared 6 divided by 5 squared 6 That comes out to 1. So, I don't understand myself where to go next. Do you by any chance have a chapter on this? @Fairy733189
Mmm no I don't. Its from a test that I took a few days ago. My teacher graded it and told me to go over the questions I got wrong so that when I take the next test i'll understand them. The answer is 6 and 1/20 but I just don't know how.
I'm not understanding where the 20 came from though. I was going to eliminate it down to A or C. I'm like doing five different calculations trying to understand why its that myself.
Ahh, well 4 x 5 is 20. And then the squared part divided up is 1
So maybe thats how to get the answer but where does the 6 come from?
The 6 is automatically part of the equation I think.
Oh ok. Well thank you I really appreciate it!
Your welcome! I did as well as I could. Math isn't my brightest subject at all, but I wanted to try for you. :)
And by the way, welcome to OpenStudy! I see that your new here. Do you like it here so far? Have you been able to find your way around alright?
Yes I have. I really like it here since you can just talk to people who can help you with your questions right away. Its kind of like having a tutor.
Yeah, I definitely agree. Its like everyone can be their own tutor and tutor others. It's quite nice. Well, I'll be more than happy to be your first fan and if you ever need anything feel free to tag me anytime. :)
