To the people who asked and answered the question what is a emo: here is the correct answer. It's a lifestyle. It doesn't revolve around "being depressed" or even Self Harm which are both extremely sensitive subjects for a lot of people. That is a incredibly incorrect stereotype that people say about emo. Emo is very similar to being goth or scene.
