The sum of the two angles is 180 degrees.
Check out the following internet reference:
http://www.mathsisfun.com/definitions/straight-angle.html
Equate the sum the two angles, now in algebraic form, to 180
and then solve the resulting equation for x.
Plug the x value of into the expressions for the two angles.
Mathematica calculated 33 degrees and 147 degrees respectively.
Notice that the sum of 33 and 147 is 180.
