Can someone help me write my conclusion for essay about gender neutral restrooms?
Wow, I can't. All I know is maths, not English. I am sorry.
@Jadeishere
Yeah :) What was your view on the prompt? Well, what exactly are you needing help with in the conclusion?
I agreed to it and if you want me to message you my whole essay I can (: I just don't know how to start it and stuff
Okay, what does your thesis statement, well, your intro paragraph look like? That's all I really need to see at the time.
Privacy is important to a majority of people because sometimes what a person does behind closed doors is not for everyone in the public eye to be aware of. When one is in public, do they still have the right to privacy? No matter where anyone might be they still have a certain expectation such as using the restroom. The way it was designed was to be used in peace. Paired gender bathrooms are but an arbitrary antique of a simpler, more undeveloped time. Gender neutral bathrooms aren't just cost effective, but they ease the endless burden of transgender Americans.
This is really well written (^o^) that makes this easier. When writing a conclusion paragraph, you are, in a way, rephrasing the thesis statement in a paragraph form. Show a concession, then a refutation. That is a great way to end an essay. Basically, saying something like; "Although, some people believe..." admit that they can be right, but then throw it back at them with a "I still believe..." or "Still, I believe..."
Haha thank you! So the format of my essay went like this, intro, narrative, confirmation, refutation, then conclusion. Would I still say "I still believe" or "Some people believe?
You already showed a concession and refutation? Dang, that's usually how i end mine and my professor loves it! Eeks. Another way is by just summarizing what the paragraphs said. So, for you TS of the conclusion, State your personal experience with the gender-neutral bathrooms, then state the concession in a one-sentence form. Refute it and then draw it all to an end with the final concluding sentence.
Okay, could you help me with how should I write the first sentence ?
Yeah :) Okay, what was your narrative?
Gender neutral bathrooms are toilets that any gender or identity could utilize. In public places there could either be single occupancy facilities for all genders or multi-stalls that have a few of them for gender neutral individuals. With these varieties of bathrooms, they are supposed to make everyone comfortable especially those who classify themselves as the opposite of what they were born as. Sometimes their safety can be jeopardized in a specific female/male bathroom. They can be able to use the restroom in peace without else trying to violate them.
Okey. Let's see. As a TS for a concluding paragraph, you could say a variety of things. If you want it to lead into the concession, i'd recommend something more opinionated about the prompt, so possibly a "Being able to feel safe in a restroom is a major necessity in today's society" and then that could lead into the "Although" So.. Yeah :)
I wouldn't recommend taking my exact wording
Okay thank you ! Could I show you my conclusion when im done writing it and tell me how it is?
Well, i may not be on for very long, so, when is it due?
In a couple of hours haha, I'll try and write it up quickly
Okey
So far I have this... As public restrooms are located everywhere, everyone should be able to feel comfortable and safe in today’s world. All gender restrooms should become a necessity for public use. Although there are some objections as to increased assaults, a private facility may be the only place for everyone of any gender to use comfortably without being violated than separated facilities. I don't know what else to say...
