These are 2 separate problems. The first one involves x^+16=8x. This has not been written in standard form for a quadratic equation. Please rearrange the terms so that your powers of x are in descending order and you have a ' 0 ' on the right side. Type out your result.

The most common form of a quadratic equation is y = ax^2 + bx + c = 0. Rewrite x^+16=8x in that form. Note that you must have an ' 0 ' on the right side. Then, try factoring your result.
