I'd use the equation l = a + (n-1)d, where l is the last term (or newest term), a is the first term (-2), and d is the common difference (3). Please substitute these values into the equation l = a + (n-1)d. Compare your result to the four given possible answer choices.

I'd write it like this:\[a _{n} = -2+(n-1)3 \]... but otherwise your result is fine!
