OpenStudy (ltrout):

For the function \[\frac{ 14 }{ x+3 }\] find \[(g^{-1} ° g)(4)\]

OpenStudy (freckles):

I guess g(x)=14/(x+3) ?

OpenStudy (ltrout):

That's what I was thinking aswell.

OpenStudy (freckles):

Do you know how to tell if a function is one-to-one?

OpenStudy (ltrout):

No not really. I just know it's a function when there's one X value for one Y value.

OpenStudy (freckles):

Do you know the horizontal line test? The horizontal line test can be used to determine if a function is one-to-one.

OpenStudy (ltrout):

Oh yes, I know that.

OpenStudy (freckles):

function should look something like this |dw:1459187182782:dw| so using that test can you determine yes or no to my question about it being one-to-one
