I'm done with music and life! I had a reason for writing music but the reason broke my heart and now there is no reason to write music. Five me a reason why I should keep writing music if my reason is gone!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

because its ur passion

OpenStudy (anonymous):

passoion! my passion left me

OpenStudy (kitty626oldrose):

Because music is great and if it is ur talent u should continue plus ur music can bring happiness to others

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but even if I have talent. I don't have a muse or a passion. I don't have anything to write my music about!?

OpenStudy (kitty626oldrose):

write about ur life or something you like my songs r depressing

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ive never written depressing songs my songs have always been about love and happiness

OpenStudy (kitty626oldrose):

do ur life then

OpenStudy (a_burning_masquerade):

Passion never leaves. Just because one thing is gone doesn't mean your passion goes with it. It's your passion not the other persons (I'm assuming it's another person). Are you going to let them walk away with something that belongs to you, that no court or president or anyone can take away from you. I've seen so many people give up on music and they are amazing at what they do just because they lost something. It's hard to lose something but music is what gets me through everything.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank u ...

OpenStudy (a_burning_masquerade):

Trust me life is a terrible thing (Mayday Parade) and it's definitely not as the media describes it to be. Live life but don't let one thing take everything away from you. I'll probably die if I walk into my home and all my musical equipment was taken or destroyed. That would be the closest thing to make me give up on it. But I will never give up on my passion because someone else walked out. There's always something to write about. Just don't give up.

rebeccaxhawaii (rebeccaxhawaii):

OpenStudy (darby.allen):

Keep on doing it never give up because I know it tought it tought for me because I write music and sing it and about to record it too.

OpenStudy (l094n16):

cause u like making music and it's what ur good at like i tried my luck at it I sucked at it (can I say that here?) so now I just sing but anyway im not that good at that either and if u like music then make music ur escape use that as a way to express ur self and write a song about moving on from ur reason tht left u i bet ya it makes u feel better

@ShyKitty Can I just be completely honest here? I went through the same thing you did at far to young of an age. It took me about a year to get back into it, and you know what? Now that I think about it, I was fine with that. It was a huge break and it helped me grow up and find myself to some extent. I became a different person through heartbreak and musically awhile later I realized that there is no giving up on it. There are just huge breaks that you have to take to overcome pain and tragedy. Allow yourself to take awhile. Don't do what everyone else so commonly suggests. "Ooh, just write about it." No, sometimes it doesn't work like that. It can be far to indescribable and to painful to write about or melodize. Do whats best for you, and when the time is right slowly come back to it if you feel the need to. I wish you the best in life and I hope coping with your inner turmoil at some point becomes easier and easier. ♥
