Can anyone help me figure out some Electrical Engineering topics? I have a test on decoders, encoders, multiplexers, state tables, timing traces, and clock diagrams. Absolutely ANY help would be greatly appreciated!

OpenStudy (dani_rose):

A decoder is a circuit that changes a code into a set of signals. It is called a decoder because it does the reverse of encoding

OpenStudy (dani_rose):

In electronics, a multiplexer (or mux) is a device that selects one of several analog or digital input signals and forwards the selected input into a single line

OpenStudy (dani_rose):

A state table is essentially a truth table in which some of the inputs are the current state, and the outputs include the next state, along with other outputs.

That's pretty much all i know. Sorry about not being much help
