What is the appeal of chewing tobacco? why do teens use it?

It is extremely addictive. Many teens want to fit in and it makes them feel grown up or cool. Once many teenagers try it though, they are hooked.

Teens want to fit in with the cool crowd, so they try to make themselves look cool and/or mature. (Which it really isn't, it is foolish)
