Math help? For a sinusoidal function in the form y=A sin Bx+C or y=A cos Bx+C, the period is 2, the maximum is 10, the equation of the midline is y=3, the y-intercept is 3, and A<0 What is the equation of the function

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Use the sine function since the midline and y-intercept are the same. (You'd use cosine if the maximum and y-intercept were the same) A = -amplitude = midline - maximum (negative since A<0 is a requirement) B = 2π/Period C = midline
