the obvious answer to this is to work 40 hours at you office job, earn $480

Pay you bills and have $80 for fun!

Why would you work for $10 when you can earn $12?

Even if you only want to earn $400 then work 34 hours in the office and get a coffee with the spare $8.

To earn EXACTLY 400 you need to work 30hrs in the office plus 4 babysitting - so you STILL do 34 hours.
This is a badly constructed question.
