Spamming is sending the same message what are you talking about @ILovePuppiesLol
yes exactl...i was just stating that everyone is posting other subject questions here and that is probably why all these other subjects are dead
spamming is posting comments that are irrelevant to the question!
yup so how can sum1 become a moderator?
How to become a Moderator: First rule: You must be 18+, due to legal issues. Second rule: You have to be, and act mature. Then you have to win the respect of this community through interaction, knowledge and the ability to interact and intervene in an appropriate manner. It is in big part based on participation, courtesy and respect. The most important thing is that you let the administrators and moderators know that you can see things going awry, and that you are willing to make some effort to solve/prevent it. And certainly NOT in a way like messaging them about how bad you want to be a moderator (this will only work contradictory), but they have to notice that you are up for the job. Then, when they decide they need more moderators, you might get asked. ◘ Being on the site for a fair amount of time. (usually more than 6 months) ◘ Be a good and active user on the site ◘ Having a squeaky clean abuse record. ◘ Have good rapport with fellow users. ◘ Having a good sense of justice. ◘ Being an expert in some field. Most of the mods are math geniuses. But any subject would suffice. ◘ Doing a great job in the ambassador program. In the ambassador training period, you'll learn how the rules work on OpenStudy and you'll learn how to make the right decisions. ◘ Hope you'll get lucky when they decide to add more moderators! ~thomaster
ohhh im only 13 lol
but thanks
if u are 13 u can become an ambassador, :) Ambassadors are representatives of OpenStudy. We answer questions from new users. We welcome and greet users. It's our job to be the embodiment of OpenStudy's ideologies. Before I go any further, there are strict requirements you must meet. ◘ Be thirteen or older ◘ Have a form of ID - excluding a birth certificate ◘ Have no serious offenses on your record ◘ If you have serious offenses, an additional process may be required ◘ Have read the Code of Conduct and Terms, and understand the rules Do you meet these requirements? If so, then please read the next part of the process. There are some key behaviors that Ambassadors must express ◘ As an Ambassador, you agree to always be kind and understanding ◘ As an Ambassador you should let users know you appreciate them ◘ Congratulate and reward positive behavior, and discourage negative behavior ◘ Lead by example! ◘ Respect the staff - never talk ill of OpenStudy ◘ Never disclose personal information if shared with you Do you feel like Ambassadorship is something you would want to do? Do you want a bright future with OpenStudy? Then become an Ambassador!
these cereals are good
so how is what we said and were doing different from what you are i know she asked but i mean you are doing the same thing answering her question but all i was doing was answering the one persons question and you called it a spam yet you are doing the same thing...im not being rude im just asking how its different @ILovePuppiesLol
she is asking how to be a mod or ambi and i am telling her :) @dinah_rose
giving direct answers is against the rules and will get u suspended @dinah_rose
im refering to when you said to stop spamming her...i was not spamming i was answering a question. also i gave justification and not just a direct answer i had resoning as to what i thought the answer was i only said it was b because the person before me did but i gave her a reason as to why it was b
true she did not spam or give a dirrect answerr
thank you @Liz_Beauty45
Yw :)
and when i said "Guys don't spam" I did not direct it at you @dinah_rose
what is that pic for?
yes but only two people were talking..also that is what i mean i told why be was the answer i didnt just say be and move on without giving a reason or help her see why
its a pic of @ILovePuppiesLol trying to show that i gave a direct answer and if they care that bad they can report me
because i gave a reason with my answer and i wouldnt have said b if the person before had not already said the answer
well for future reference, if you see someone giving direct answers, just tell them no direct answers next time, even if u give it with an explanation, alright? @dinah_rose
i dont see as to why you are biting me when everyone else her does it i gave information others just say an answer and leave sorry imma leave now i have no reason to be here
