MsBrains (ms-brains):

Can someone check if I am correct? http://prntscr.com/alnmvm

OpenStudy (welshfella):

No When you multiply terms with an exponent you ADD the exponents eg b^2 * b^4 = b^(2+4) = b^6

MsBrains (ms-brains):

Oh, well then it would be A.b^9 Right? Thank you so much! You are awesome! c: @welshfella

rishavraj (rishavraj):

@Ms-Brains \[a^x \times a^y = a^{x+y}\] so \[b^3 \times b \times b^4 \times b^2 = b^{3+1+4+2}\]

OpenStudy (welshfella):

note that b = b^1 so you need to include 1 in the addition

OpenStudy (welshfella):

so that comes to b^10 understand?

MsBrains (ms-brains):

Yup. :3 Thank you! I understand it.

OpenStudy (welshfella):
