OpenStudy (simplymarie_x):

Are the two triangles below similar? Select one: a. Yes; they have congruent corresponding angles b. Yes; they have proportional corresponding sides c. No; they do not have proportional corresponding sides d. No; they do not have congruent corresponding angles

OpenStudy (simplymarie_x):

OpenStudy (osgood):

D, I think does anyone else know?

OpenStudy (simplymarie_x):

I thought it was D as well. Anyone else have an opinion? :-)

OpenStudy (freckles):

do you know how to find the missing angles from both? if you have AAA then it is at the very least similar

OpenStudy (simplymarie_x):

Yeah don't you just subtract the angles from 180? @freckles I'll just try D. Thank you guys.

OpenStudy (freckles):

yep yep

OpenStudy (freckles):

and what is m<U and m<V?

OpenStudy (simplymarie_x):

I got it. It was D :-)

OpenStudy (freckles):

right they do not have congruent correspond angles because one has 70,28,82 while the other one has 70,18,92

OpenStudy (freckles):

and since 70,28,82 isn't the same as 70,18,92 because of the 28,82 and the 18,92 parts then not all angles have a corresponding congruent pair if that makes sense
