Because the rule here on OpenStudy is: One Question Per Post.
So that means You ask 1 Question and the person that helps you gets the 1 medal.
Then you close your question and ask another. :)

You can only give one medal because sometimes users tend to spam. "Best Responses" aka. medals, are given to the user who gave you the best explanation or that helped you more.

Then you give the "Best Response" to whomever you believe gave the better answer and explained the best. :)
