OpenStudy (kj4uts):

1. Find sin(a + b) if sin(a) = -20/29 where is in the fourth quadrant and tan(b) = -15/8 where b is in the second quadrant. 2. Suppose cos(t) = -20/29 and t is in the 3rd quadrant. Evaluate sin (t + t) to 4 decimal places. Please explain. Thank you!

OpenStudy (kj4uts):

Is the first one set up like this sin(5/13 - (-7/25))?

OpenStudy (kj4uts):

For the second questions I think the answer would be negative since it is in the third quadrant.
