so we want to draw these rectangles starting from the left endpoint
the left endpoint is 0
so we will draw a rectangle from t=0 to t=2
then another from t=2 to t=4
then another from t=4 to t=6
then another from t=6 to t=8

we are going to take the left endpoint to find the heights of these rectangles because that is what left endpoint rule tells us
