OpenStudy (juscallmesteve):

Differentiate the function f(x) = ln(sinx) I will post my attempt

OpenStudy (juscallmesteve):

so \[\frac{ d }{ dx } (\ln(sinx))\] would be \[\frac{ 1 }{ sinx } * (\frac{ d }{dx }(sinx))\] this comes out to \[\frac{ 1 }{ sinx } * cosx \] that equates to \[\frac{ cosx }{ sinx }\] which is the same as cotx

OpenStudy (juscallmesteve):

is that correct?

OpenStudy (bobo-i-bo):

yup :)

OpenStudy (juscallmesteve):

thank you
