A helium balloon is released into the air. Use gas laws to predict what will happen to the balloon as it rises higher into the air.
Just askin if you have any multiple choices there? So that would kinda throw me alil farther ;)
No, it's just a short answer. I have an idea of what happens but I need someone to explain it to me in simple and short terms. :/
The helium balloon rises into the air because the particles inside the balloon are less dense which pushes the balloon higher into the air where the air is thinner. the balloon will rise slower and slower until it reaches a point of equal pressure. the helium will slowly seep through the rubber of the balloon and the balloon will begin its decent back to earth.
Thank you so much :-)
