What is the graph of the absolute value function? y= 2 |x|

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

use a graphing calculator (TI83, 84, etc) or use desmos to graph you can type in `2*|x|` or `2*abs(x)` https://www.desmos.com/calculator/nysywdhqkj

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

most calculators use the notation `abs` to mean `absolute value`
