OpenStudy (ijlal):

i guess ON/OP = TU/UV plug the values :)

OpenStudy (phoebeiscray152):

@ijlal i dont understand lol?

OpenStudy (4everaddicted2anime):

Set up a proportion:\[\frac{ 4 }{ 6 }=\frac{ 10 }{ ? }\]

OpenStudy (ijlal):

since the rectangle are congruent you can set up a ratio

OpenStudy (igreen):

Set up a proportion: \(\sf\dfrac{6}{4} = \dfrac{x}{10}\) Cross multiply.

OpenStudy (ijlal):

or you can calculate by the formula its a bit lengthy (A1/A2) = (L1/L2)^2 calculate the areas of the rectangles name them A1 and A2 respectively and take their same sides like if you are taking the length of rectangle 1 then take the length of rectangle 2 not the breadth plug in the values you will get the answer :) hope you get your answer :)

OpenStudy (igreen):

6 * 10 = ? 4 * x = ?

OpenStudy (phoebeiscray152):

This is all confusing to me.

OpenStudy (phoebeiscray152):

@iGreen

OpenStudy (igreen):

Can you multiply those?

OpenStudy (igreen):

6 * 10 = ? 4 * x = ?

OpenStudy (phoebeiscray152):

OpenStudy (phoebeiscray152):
