“As Caesar loved me, I weep for him; as he was fortunate, I rejoice at it; as he was valiant, I honour him:” In Julius Caesar by William Shakespeare most of the people have different motives and opinions about whether Brutus was a betrayer or patriot. Alot of people say that he was a bad patriot becuase he was the one who kill Caesar for rome. I think that his logic was flowed also it can be prove by alot of fact and Brutus was a betrayer to both Caesar and Rome

This is a great start! You have a claim, and the start of a counterclaim. Here is a way to approach the assignment.
First, state your claim in one sentence, that answers: "Is Brutus a Patriot or a Betrayer? Follow your claim with a sentence as to why you believe he is a Patriot or a Betrayer. This is your opinion.
Next, state the counterclaim. What do some people think about Brutus that is opposite of what you think? Answer in one sentence, and include detail in another.
Finally, restate your claim as a rebuttal. You are basically saying the same thing as your first sentence, just in different words. This time, share the exact, 2-3 factual reasons why Brutus is a Patriot or Betrayer. In this sentence, do not use your opinion like you did in the first sentence. This is your thesis.
